UPDATE...ADOPTION

This is official and straight from the CCAA's website:

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before August 31, 2005.

The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before May 25, 2005.

What does this mean? It means that if our first LID of August 25, 2005 has been reinstated, then our file has been reviewed and found to be OK! It has moved into The Matching Room where once it is our turn, we will be matched with Claire. If we are still going with our second LID, which was September 5th, then our file is still in The Review Room where files are reviewed to make sure they are complete. If there are any questions about any of the information, our agency will be contacted to clarify whatever needs clarified. In any case, at least we are getting closer!

What else does this mean? Well, it means that things are moving painfully slow. The CCAA is still working on matching people with LID's from May of 2005. They'll need to match the rest of May, June, July, and probably August before they get to us.
