Claire finally has a middle name! Nothing like waiting until the last minute...

When Qian Li Lu enters the United States she will be known as Claire Yi Ming. We called Hope "Han Tao" while we were in China. It made her smile...and it was something warm and familiar to her. She still goes by her nickname "Ta Tao" and has named one of her dolls "Han Tao". She also wanted to name Claire "Han Tao"! ")

Her last name, Qian is given to all babies at her orphanage to symbolize where they came from, Qianjiang. Li Lu means beautiful dew. For the life of me I still marvel at the fact that our family, so obsessed with Lilo and Stitch, ended up with a baby named Li Lu! ")

Claire means clear, bright, and intelligent. Yi means graceful and Ming means...bright, clear, and intelligent!

Now, let's get her home! ")
